Renewable Energy Sources - MS 9
[Master ]

What does it mean?

The danger to our planet and energy resources is growing. Global warming, climate change and high air pollution are the effects of using fossil fuels. Their negative effects can be reduced by using new sustainable energy solutions. This program prepares graduates with knowledge and skills for the design and use of innovative renewable energy conversion technologies (photovoltaic systems, solar thermal, heat pumps, wind, water, hydrogen, biomass), of efficient energy storage systems, as well as in the elaboration of economic-financial solutions for the efficient implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy sources.

What will you learn about?

  • Photovoltaic systems;
  • Passive solar systems;
  • Geothermal energy and heat pumps;
  • Micro hydropower and ocean energy;
  • Wind energy;
  • Hydrogen and fuel cells;
  • Renewable energy storage systems;
  • Electric drives for RES;
  • Electric machines for RES;
  • Energy recovery of surface fuels;
  • Sustainable Development;
  • The impact of distributed generation on power networks;
  • Integration of microgeneration systems distributed in electrical networks;
  • Financing energy projects.

What will you become?

  • Specialist engineer in renewable energy
  • Specialist engineer in eolian energy
  • Specialist engineer in solar energy
  • Research engineer in unconventional technology and equipment
  • Energy technology design engineer
  • Project manager

... and the list expands.

Who will hire you?

Industrial companies, energy companies, research and design institutes in the energy field;

Examples: Engie, Honeywell, Electrica, Enel, TIAB, ICPE-CA, ICEMENERG, VINCI Energies; CAMUSAT

....and the list continues.
