Quality assurance
University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest has implemented and developed a Quality Management System that aims to increase performance, based on organizational support structures for implementation, such as: Quality Assessment and Assurance Commission, Quality Council at university level, Quality Commissions at the level of faculties, working groups at the departmental level, group of internal auditors and the Quality Service.
In order to ensure quality in the Faculty of Energy Engineering and to achieve the strategic objectives, the Dean appointed the Commission for quality management, communication and digital transformation consisting of:

This structure has its own operating rules, but respects the fundamental principle in the field of quality, namely that the responsibility for ensuring the quality of processes in an organization lies with the management at the highest level. Therefore, the Quality Management System at the level of the Faculty of Energy Engineering is led by the Dean who, according to the Regulation on the Quality Management System at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest:
The Quality Management Commission is a collective working body of the faculty that identifies, analyzes and proposes solutions and decisions regarding QMS. It prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report in the faculty, which is presented, discussed and endorsed by the Faculty Council.
At the level of each department in the faculty, the director of the department has appointed a person in charge of the quality assurance.
Also, at the level of the Faculty Council, there is the Specialized Commission for Quality Assurance, which also includes the representatives of the students.

In recognition of the achievements of the entire academic community, in terms of the excellence of study programs, the quality and visibility of scientific research, through its administrative and institutional capacity, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest has been classified as a university of advanced research and education, as the only university in Romania which is in all areas of ranking in the first category (A) for all study programs. Also, in 2015, following the evaluation of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the university obtained the reconfirmation of accreditation, with a high degree of confidence.
All the study programs of the faculty are accredited with the qualification of trust by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. In 2017, a program of studies obtained the EUR-ACE® international certification, conferred by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), a certification that offers international recognition and value to the qualification and contributes to facilitating academic and professional mobility of the graduates.
