What does it mean?

This program prepares graduates with the knowledge and skills to achieve the conception and vertically integrated design (production, transport, distribution, use) of energy systems (electricity, heat, water, ventilation and air conditioning). - establishing the overall structure of the system, sizing components, leading to the achievement of objective functions (maximum energy efficiency, economic profitability, minimized impact on the environment and society).
