Laboratory Complex Fluids and Microfluidics

The Complex Fluids and Microfluidics Laboratory (REOROM) is a research unit of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest that is part of the BIOINGTEH and INOVABIOMED platforms. REOROM was founded in 2000 by Prof. Corneliu Bălan as a laboratory dedicated to fundamental and applied research in the fields of non-Newtonian fluid mechanics, rheology and rheometry. Today the studies are extended to simple and complex fluid microfluidics applications, flow visualizations and CFD analysis.
