1999 - postgraduate studies in energy field, specialization in “Modeling and computer-aided design in Thermal Power Engineering”, Faculty of Power Engineering, UPB;
2004 – double PhD Degree (cotutelle), PhD in Power Engineering, UPB, and PhD in Mechanical and Power Engineering, University Henri Poincaré, Nancy I (UHP) (current name: University of Lorraine), France; thesis in the field of GT-ST combined cycle.
1998 – 2005 assistant at the Department of Power Plants, Faculty of Power Engineering, UPB;
