Vice Dean

Mr. Eduard MINCIUC is vice-dean at the Faculty of Power Engineering responsible with academic management. The specific activities performed by Mr. vice-dean Minciuc include the following: elaboration of documents regarding teaching activities, contact with students on different teaching issues, coordination of faculty’s secretariat activity, elaboration of different reporting documents regarding teaching process, etc.

Prof. dr. ing. Eduard MINCIUC is member of Department of Energy Production and Use within the Faculty of Power Engineering. Mr. Minciuc is also a PhD supervisor within the Energy PhD School. The teaching and research areas of interest of Mr. Minciuc include the following: combined energy production, district heating/cooling, energy efficiency, energy audit, utilization of renewable sources for energy production, environmental impact of energy sector. The teaching and research activity of Mr. Minciuc has materialized into 14 books/chapters of books, over 100 scientific articles in journals and at conferences, over 60 research projects and technical studies.

Apart from the teaching and research, Mr. Minciuc has also consultancy activity in energy sector for different national and international entities, including: ANRE trainer for energy auditors and managers, member of a Working Group 3 “Flexible Generation” of European Technology and Innovation Platform-Smart Networks for Energy Transition (ETIP-SNET).
